About Richard Loebl, LCSW, PA
Director
Richard Loebl is the founder and Director of the Relationship Center Of South Florida. He created this Center to provide a safe and caring environment for couples, families, and individuals looking for support, guidance, and personal growth and development.
Richard is a Board Certified Psychotherapist, and has over 25 years of experience as a counselor, therapist, consultant, instructor and program manager in the fields of mental health and chemical dependency in Washington, D.C., Northern Virginia, and South Florida. |
 |
His primary specialties are relationships, couples counseling, and men’s issues. Other specialty areas include anxiety disorders and addictions.
Richard has special interests in attachment issues, emotionally focused therapy, and the use of mindfulness, meditation, and mind-body approaches.
Richard created a self-help model called “Who’s In Charge?” (click on the link to read his introductory article on this model). This simple tool helps people to understand their internal parts – the Child, Teen, Critic, and Adult. This helps people to understand where certain feelings and behavior patterns come from. This same tool is easily used to make positive life changes.
Richard completed his graduate degree in clinical social work at the University of Maryland. He received Board Certifications from the National Association of Social Workers and the American Psychotherapy Association. |
"Richard's kind and gentle manner created a safe environment ... His Who's in Charge? model has given me a unique perspective... It has improved my personal and business relationships..."

Richard is also a Certified Instructor for TLC – The Living Course – a weekend personal growth and development workshop.

About Dana Risucci, LCSW
Director, Chemical Dependency Services
Dana Risucci, LCSW, is a licensed psychotherapist who specializes in helping people recover from addictions and other unhealthy behaviors that interfere with their divine purpose, authentic self and ultimate happiness. She has experience working with chemical dependency, anxiety and depression, and women’s issues.
Dana has the passion and skill to help women to recover, and even thrive from the trauma of physical, emotional and sexual abuse. The pressures of life and the demands of balancing several roles and relationships at home and work can be quite challenging for women. Dana helps women to unveil their authentic feelings, leading to self-discovery, happiness and success. |
|
The trauma of abuse and abandonment results in victimization. These innocent survivors experience great emotional turmoil, and often develop unhealthy patterns of coping and behavior. In adult life they also tend to find themselves in troubled, even abusive relationships. It is also quite common for these survivors of abuse and neglect to recreate the role of victim in their adult lives. These survivors minimize or deny their own feelings, needs, and dreams. Dana helps women to accept and validate their feelings and to learn new ways to cope with these feelings. Survivors learn to thrive through this self-acceptance and empowerment, as they begin to embrace the gifts and blessings they truly deserve.
Dana provides and promotes a safe, healing, and nurturing environment that encourages this process of self-discovery, serenity and joyful growth.

She has extensive experience in working with adolescents, and family dynamics.
As a marriage and family therapist, the focus is on helping individuals and couples to achieve greater happiness and peace relationships. In a safe and impartial setting, Jessica helps people discuss the problems in their relationships and discover new ways to communicate effectively. She helps couples and families to trust, let go of the past, and rekindle the love.
In individual therapy, Jessica uses cognitive therapy – an approach that is directive and focused. This type of therapy helps people to focus on the thoughts and beliefs that cause distressing feelings. These thoughts also result in patterns of behavior that become counter-productive, and relationships that become stuck and unhappy. This type of therapy is brief and solution oriented, so that people can expect change in a short amount of time. Cognitive therapy has been proven through research studies to be a very effective treatment for many types of problems. With cognitive therapy, people can learn how to stop the negative thinking patterns that prevent them from reaching their goals and living life to the fullest! With cognitive therapy, people actually learn to become their own therapists!
